PhotoJournalism Prize (PJP)
The PhotoJournalism Prize (PJP) is a new global award established in 2025 by the Farmani Group to honor and support excellence in photojournalism. Building on the legacy of the International Photography Awards (IPA) and the Lucie Awards, PJP aims to spotlight the essential role of visual journalism in shaping our understanding of current events and global issues. The prize recognizes photographers whose work demonstrates courage, integrity, and impact in documenting the world’s most pressing stories—from conflict and humanitarian crises to social movements and environmental change. In addition to awarding outstanding projects, PJP provides a platform for dialogue on the challenges and ethics of contemporary photojournalism, amplifying the voices of photographers who risk their lives to bring critical stories to light.
