My Journey
Whenever there is a war, there is a life next to it; whenever there is a funeral on the right, there is a baby just being born on the left.
Half of my life, I have been traveling the world with my camera to document stories that matter, stories of hope, stories of courage, and stories of resilience. Stories of people who were forced to leave their homes and hopes, their families and memories behind, and search for a new safe home. Nobody leaves their home unless they are forced to leave their homes, and this is what I try to show in my images.
With my photographs, I want to spread awareness, I want to change stereotypes, and most importantly, I want to raise the voice of the people that I photograph as these and never just pictures; these are voices, these are messages, and these are testimonies that live forever and forever. If something happened and was never documented, it is like it never occurred.
My Journey, two and a half decades documenting war, destruction, human misery, and the resilience of those who got caught in the middle of it. Even amid conflict, life never stops but keeps going. Life goes on.
