Program
With a talk structured in two parts, James Nachtwey will first present an essay on the relationship between the established press and social media. Accompanied by a visual backdrop of his photographic work it will explore how that fault line in public consciousness originated and the consequences it has had for society.
The presentation will then transition to a discussion of some of the specific stories Nachtwey worked on over the years.
